Restructuring of the building envelope and roof of the René Cassin High School's day school and administration buildings in Tulle, Corrèze. The proposed architectural approach aims to differentiate the scales at which the project is perceived. An urban scale for the facades seen from a distance, in dialogue with the recently renovated boarding school building, within an overall composition that integrates the main features of the landscape and overlooks the city of Tulle from the "Marquisat" hill. A more "sensitive" scale for the facades facing the students' courtyard, allowing for differentiation and highlighting of the various entities and functions. The existing regular and austere grid of openings on the city side is disrupted and replaced by a controlled, random pattern, enhanced by a system of adjustable sunshades. On the courtyard side, openwork wooden battens reveal the pinkish hue of the added insulation.
