The municipality of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles has mobilized for the construction of line D of the tramway between Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux and Place de la République in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles. The tram, far from being reduced to the choice of a mode of transport, is a global project, combining environment, mobility and regional planning. It is also a powerful lever for urban transformation. 9 buildings were built by creating a North / South pedestrian crossing from Avenue Léon Blum to Rue Alexis Puyo. The purpose of the project is to ensure great visual and user permeability with a set of pedestrian paths accessible to all. In order to reorganize the town of Hastignan, building A will include shops in the DRC with a place retroceded for future development. The different buildings have been designed to create a distance between them as well as with the neighborhood.
